To compare a speech at Mile High Stadium to a Nuremberg Rally is laughable. Mile High Stadium is the perfect place to talk about dreams. For many Coloradans its the stuff that dreams are made of: John Elway, Mike Shannahan, Terrell Davis to name a few of our heroes who have made dreams come true in this area.
What did Peggy Noonan think of our current commander and chief dressing up like a pilot to speak on a ship to a group of our troops as if we had won a war? Did she call it a masquerade? The height of dark comedy?
How did Peggy Noonan describe the televised apology made to Dick Cheney by the man whose face he mutilated when he shot him in the face? Did she ask readers why Dick Cheney didn't make a public apology?
What about John Mc Cain not quite grasping that Pakistan and Iraq do not sharea border? What about his thoughts on Putin the president of Germany? How does she think John McCain a man still attached to countries that no longer exist such as Yugoslavia will help shape our future?
Nuremberg? Be serious. Peggy you write for a world renowned paper. Pull it together. You are an embarassment to women and journalists the world over.
Would it make you happier if Barack suited up in a Broncos uniform and held a football during his speech? Do our national monuments in Washington DC make you recall the films on Leni Riefenstahl? Nuremberg? You are comparing one of nation's great democratic rituals to a Nazi rally. I will becurious what you have to write about the Republican' campaign to slander this man who is "different," from any candidate we've seen before.
